I am officially exhausted and broke after 3 days of Armageddon Con. I SO have to report all my adventures when I recover. I got my photo taken with Nicole de Boer, a lady from the newspaper interviewed me, a guy from Weta Workshop had an interesting chat with me, and Tiffany Grant (Asuka) is officially one of the nicest stars EVER! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I am so happy to see familar faces, as well as new faces, and I really like this place! :-D

I am also bracing myself for work today. My boss is putting forth some pretty strict policies for the techs (I work in a small IT firm) which is NOT going to be popular, but necessary. We've been running on alot of trust basis, but many people have been violating that trust, so my boss has been forced to lay down these ground rules which is going to keep them on the straight and narrow. When I walk in, the mood is NOT going to be good. There is one co-worker who I lovingly refer to as SATAN who is especially going to rebel against it, and if my boss follows the rules to the letter, SATAN will likely be gone. The problem: my boss has been too permissive with policies in the past.

I am just now getting up after going back to bed after taking kids to school. I really should've gotten up a couple hours ago, but the bed just felt SO good.

I am now looking at doing some dishwashing, picking up the kids in an hour or so, reading some poetry by John Donne and other schoolwork, and figuring out what to do with the hamburger for supper tonight.

I am dreading my western humanities midterm. He wanted us to type up all our notes from class and the book. I have 45 double sided pages of notes from class. not to mention the books. He's just gonna have to give me more time.
